News GPA Academy promotes the 9th edition of the Professional Certification Course on Data Protection 22/11/2018

GPA Academy promoted, from November 19 to 21, the 9th edition of the Professional Certification Course on Data Protection. The aim of the course was to deepen and certify the relevant knowledge to the practice of Data Protection Officer.
The principles of data protection and exceptions to data protection regime, the roles and responsibilities in data processing, the treatment of sensitive / special data or the role of regulators are amongst the most significant topics.
After attending this course, the knowledge acquired was assessed through an examination, which is required for certification.
This course was supported by AEPD – Associação de Encarregados de Proteção de Dados and the Irish Association of Data Protection Officers (ASSO DPO) and ICS Skills.
