News GPA once again at the Web Summit 04/11/2019

The WebSummit, the largest and most important international technology and entrepreneurship conference in the world, will take place in Lisbon, between 4 and 7 November, at the Altice Arena and FIL.

On behalf of GPA, partners Sofia Gouveia Pereira and Anselmo Costa Freitas, Of Counsel Ricardo Couto, Associates Paula Alegria Martins and Tomás Gonçalves da Costa and Trainee Lawyer Sara Costa Tavares will be attending this initiative, thus reinforcing the commitment of the firm in monitoring matters related to innovation and technology and its positioning in the first line as a business partner of the various protagonists of the ongoing digital revolution, in order to advise them, in a practical way, to prepare for the challenges and opportunities they currently have to face in order to be successful.

Paddy Cosgrave, CEO of Web Summit, recently said he has witnessed "Portugal's growing success as a technology hub", which is perhaps one of the reasons why this year's edition is expected to receive more than 70,000 participants from more than 160 countries, including "CEOs and founders of the world's largest companies, the world's most promising new startups, influential investors, and leading journalists."
