News News Flash – Renewal of the State of Emergency 16/04/2021

The State of Emergency was further renewed by Decree Law of the President of the Republic 41-A/2021, of 14th April 2021 (for 15 days), based on the calamity situation, and is to be in force from 16th April, 0.00, to 30th April, 11.59pm, 2021.

Following the renewal of the State of Emergency, towards lifting containment measures, approved in the Resolution of the Council of Ministers no. 19/2021, it was implemented by means of Decree Law 6-A/ 2021 of 15th April, and it will be in force at 00:00 on April 16th, 2021. It regulates the new state of emergency decreed by the President of the Republic as extended by the previous Decree-Law no. 6/2021, of 3rd April until the 18th of April at 23: 59, keeping the rules foreseen and currently in force. The gradual lifting of the existing lockdown measures will start on 19th April, 2021.
