News Francisco Rodrigues Rocha new Partner at GPA Law Firm 27/10/2023

GPA Law Firm announces the appointment as Partner, effective November 2023, of its Of Counsel Francisco Rodrigues Rocha.

Francisco Rodrigues Rocha will become Head of the Transport and Maritime Areas and Co-Head of Compliance in the Banking, Finance and Insurance Sectors. Lawyer with a PhD from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, where he is a Visiting Assistant Professor, Francisco Rodrigues Rocha has been collaborating with GPA Law Firm since 2012, where he completed his internship and was also an associate lawyer. He has been providing legal assistance in various areas, especially insurance and pension fund law, with particular emphasis on advising financial intermediaries, including credit institutions, private equity companies, collective investment undertakings and private equity funds, on regulatory and corporate matters, as well as monitoring administrative offence proceedings before the sector’s supervisory authorities. He is the author of more than 70 publications in various legal areas, including insurance law, banking law, company law, maritime law, transport law, data protection law and consumer law.
