News GPA present at FinLab Open Day 18/07/2019

On July 9th, at the headquarters of the CMVM took place the FinLab Open Day , an event of presentation of results and report of the first edition of Portugal FinLab, which, in its turn, took place between September 2018 and April 2019.

Representing GPA-Gouveia Pereira, Costa Freitas & Associados, Ricardo Couto and Tomás Gonçalves da Costa attended this initiative, thus reinforcing the firm's commitment towards the monitoring of matters related to financial markets, innovation and its regulation.

Portugal FinLab is a Bank of Portugal, Securities Commission and Insurance and Pension Funds Supervisory Authority initiative which, together with Portugal Fintech, creates a communication channel between the regulatory authorities and Fintechs wishing to operate in Portugal in compliance with the Portuguese Regulation.

The event of the presentation of results of the 1st edition of Portugal FinLab was opened by the Chairman of the CMVM, Gabriela Figueiredo Dias, and was attended by Hélder Rosalino, director at the Bank of Portugal,João Gião, member of the Board of Directors of CMVM and Professor Caldeira Cabral, member of the Board of Directors of ASF.
