GPA Law Firm (GPA) announces the appointment of Inês Moura Vieira as Partner in the Criminal and Misdemeanour Law practice, effective June, further strengthening its criminal litigation and regulatory enforcement capabilities in a context of increasing regulatory demands and enhanced supervisory mechanisms.
This promotion is part of GPA’s strategy to consolidate its Criminal and Misdemeanour Law practice, an area the firm considers crucial in supporting clients with the implementation of compliance programmes, ensuring legal compliance and mitigating business risks.
“Inês Moura Vieira’s appointment reflects a solid professional track record and more than two decades of consolidated experience, grounded in a rigorous, strategic and integrated technical approach, as well as her decisive contribution to the growth of this strategic practice for the firm’s clients,” says Sofia Gouveia Pereira, Managing Partner of GPA.
Inês Moura Vieira joined GPA in 2022, where she has been involved, namely, in highly complex criminal cases with significant media exposure, with a particular focus on criminal and misdemeanour matters. Since 2024, she has also been responsible for the firm’s internal Trainee Programme.
Prior to joining the firm, Inês Moura Vieira worked, among others, with João Nabais & Associados and José Pérez Consultores, and has extensive experience both in solo practice and collaborating with law firms as a consultant.
